Initially released in November 2017 as a consumer arcade version, Earthlight: Spacewalk (2017) from Opaque Space is now preparing its launch on Playstation VR. This first-person space simulator places users aboard the International Space Station as Ana, an astronaut about to embark on her seventy-sixth space walk on the ISS. Jennifer Scheurle, Game Design Lead at Opaque Space, communicated on social media recently that she is “super pleased” with how well the experience, although still in development, runs on PSVR already. The company has not yet revealed an actual release date for the PSVR immersive space experience.
