GOT WINDOWS 10 PC? MIXED REALITY COMING SOON
Microsoft’s new virtual reality app, aptly named “View Mixed Reality,” will be available this fall on school PCs running 10 S. However, it’s only a matter of time–a very short time, some speculate–for traditional Windows 10 platforms to access it as well. Devices equipped with RGB camera, including a basic USB webcam, will run the View Mixed Reality app enabling users to view augmented reality images and 3D objects alongside real-world objects. The new AR tech was featured at an exclusive Microsoft in the classroom event, which effectively used Mars Curiosity Rover as a backdrop to the speaker.
