Apple revealed earlier this year a massive engineering project in Israel that many suspected was related to augmented reality. \u00a0April showers are feeding the grapevine now that the iPhone 8 will feature Apple\u2019s \u201cSmart Connector\u201d for wireless charging and augmented and virtual reality accessories. \u00a0This is the same connector used in the iPad Pro, which is AR\/VR enabled. \u00a0The technology developed by 1,000 engineers in Israel that could be featured on the upcoming iPhone 8 could include \u201cmoderate 3D mapping . . . and possibly an AR software development kit,\u201d says analyst Steven Milunovich. Rumor continues that the newest group of Apple products are set for release this September. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
