After much anticipation \u2013 and with Apple almost beating them to the punch \u2013 Meta finally announced its latest device, Meta Quest 3<\/a>, on June 1, 2023. Here\u2019s a quick rundown of all the most significant news concerning this next-gen VR\/MR device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meta hasn\u2019t revealed everything about the forthcoming device, but what it has revealed should rouse the appetites of those eager to see VR and MR merge into one technology. With a similar design style to that of Quest 2<\/a>, Quest 3 may not seem revolutionary at first. Dig a little deeper \u2013 or just note the three front-facing external cameras \u2013 and it should become apparent fairly quickly. Quest 3 improves upon its predecessor with the addition of a next-gen Snapdragon chipset, improved per-eye resolution, and Meta Reality technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
