Virtuali-Tee is one of the most interesting virtual reality projects on Kickstarter and teaches anatomy with the help of a t-shirt. The invention has already raised over $100k and the founders are sure that this t-shirt will be very popular among young adults and teenagers who are interested in anatomy.
At the first look, the t-shirt with the graphics looks simple and unremarkable, but once you will look at it through a smartphone camera with an app Curiscope, you see 3D animated model of human body.
According to the inventors, because of a special method of printing on clothing fabric, software is able to process the image from camera and convert it into a three-dimensional image.
As the creators of the Virtual Reality t-shirts say, their product will make the study of the anatomy an entertaining and interesting process. Animated 3D-body is able to demonstrate the functioning of human tissues and internal organs of the system.
The creators emphasize that the main advantages of the proposed method are mobility, technology and affordability.
