With VR technology forging ahead in science and education, corporations and universities are partnering with schools to bring more virtual reality learning opportunities to the classroom. At Montour School District in Pennsylvania, a year-long experience with zSpace’s Virtual Immersion Lab has opened doors for children to be able to expand their horizons in electrical engineering, physics, biomedical engineering, and mold clay models. This fall, companies like Schell Games and the RAND Corp., along with Carnegie Mellon University are supporting Montour chemistry classrooms to utilize another VR lab called SuperChem VR.
