Durability and features expect to headline Sensics new VR headset currently in development. Primarily for the out-of-home market like theme parks and arcades, the VR headset uses the foundation of the OSVR HDK2 with similar OLED display and 100 degree field of view. According to Sensics, what will make this VR headset ideal for out-of-home use are the following features: easy to clean, modular, easy to repair, quick set-up and tear down. Also, the company will build in a pair of fans to prevent fogging and “an optional integrated Leap Motion module built into the headset for hand interactions without the need for controllers.” Pre-production for the VR units have been released while plans for mass production are coming soon.
