Launched by Dr. Aaron Ralby, CEO of U.K. startup Linguisticator, Kickstarter’s new project called Macunx VR projects its “memory palaces” will change how people learn. The technology is based on memory being a creative process and virtual reality being utilized as the stimulator of creativity. Dr. Ralby explains, “The reason memory is creative is because it allows you to create associations between concepts and compose new ideas.” Macunx’s virtual environments will immerse learners into a virtual environment that will facilitate memorization of new languages and facts at a rapid rate. Ultimately, the project aims to enable users to be able to create their own modules for tailored to fit their own needs.
