The VR standalone saga continues with HTC set to unveil its new standalone VR headset at this month’s Vive Developer Conference in Beijing. English-language publication covering the Chinese tech industry YiVian discovered plans for the reveal in a promotional flyer for the Nov. 14th VDC at the Crowne Plaza Beijing Sun Palace, although rumors have been swirling since earlier this year. Trademark specs for the Vive M (hinting of Vive Mobile) reveal a design similar to the tethered PC VR Vive headset, without, of course, the tethering. So far, HTC has officially released little about the event.
