This first-ever wearable VR PC has been designed to support commercial VR endeavors in product design, architecture, healthcare, first responder training, automotive, and entertainment. Nevertheless, HP’s VR Backpack is only one piece of the company’s portfolio shift to invest in immersive VR and AR tech. In addition to the HP Z VR Backpack, the company plans to open thirteen immersion centers throughout the world including Houston, Fort Collins, Stockholm, London, Barcelona, and Singapore.
