Known for his Academy Award-winning work, native Alaskan Ben Grossman has recently built a Virtual reality tour of the International Space Station. After NASA approved Grossman’s idea of equipping the ISS with a 360 degree camera, his company, Magnopus, went to work to give people on earth the experience of floating around in space. In addition to this VR tour of ISS, Grossman has confirmed rumors of an upcoming major international film to be created in virtual reality and exported for viewing in cinemas. With production slated for a 2019 release, Grossman’s VR film will be the first of its type in the world.
