While Microsoft continues to talk about an Oculus version of their popular Minecraft, Facebook went ahead of the game to create and now offer one to people who use the Windows 10 beta-test version of Minecraft. The new Oculus version opens up a 3D world to users, enabling them within that world to dig for resources, build shelters, and more. Minecraft fans wanting to venture into this virtual reality world of blocks will need their phone or tablet in addition to the Oculus Rift headset. Minecraft VR is free to current Minecraft personal computer users and $10 for others. As a result of the VR upgrade, Microsoft plans to enhance its programming to incorporate advanced features.
