Quanta computer, one of Apple Inc.’s major suppliers of Apple Watch components, has presented a plan forward on augmented reality manufacturing in 2019. Known as well for laptop computer, Quanta has entered into a partnership with Lumus, an optics company known for its core display components for augmented reality glasses. Although Quanta’s relationship with Apple remains unchanged, Apple CEO Tim Cook does not foresee anytime soon that AR glasses would achieve Apple’s standards.
